Moorestown
Township is a community of approximately 17,000 people
occupying a 15 square mile area in the northwestern corner
of Burlington County. This quiet, Tree City USA community
was first settled by Friends more than 300 years ago.
Today, Moorestown provides a variety of activities and
opportunities for its residents which include an historic
town center, an excellent public school system, quiet and
attractive residential neighborhoods, the Moorestown Mall
- East Gate shopping district, and both active and passive
recreation at Moorestown's many neighborhood and municipal
parks which include the 80 acre Strawbridge Lake Park/Lake
complex. Moorestown's geographic location and relationship
to major highway facilities give its residents easy access
to other areas of the region. For these reasons,
Moorestown residents enjoy living here.
